Latresa Baker is an American actress, producer and writer. She graduated from the New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts where she received intensive film and television acting training. James Franco's Studio 4 is where she developed her writing technique in a writer's room environment. She is a self taught producer and is certified through Manhattan Neighborhood Network where she gained additional knowledge and hands on experience.
Throughout her professional career, Latresa has received a Best Performance Award for her lead role as Marley, an aspiring MMA fighter with a family dispute to settle in "Arm Bar," and has co-produced and stars in MrJayV Comedy Series, "Ms. Monologue," and "Pounds New York" online series. In addition to her contemporary tough girl role as Marleny, Latresa stars in the 1960's short film, "Sanctuary" as a lesbian couple enduring the repercussions of police harassment and violence. Additionally, she acts alongside Saycon Sengbloh in the 1970's feature film about and underground abortion network in Chicago, "Ask For Jane" which stars Cody Horn, Alison Wright and Sarah Ramos.
Previous theater credits include the role of Teresa Becker, Off-Broadway, in the multiple award-winning dysfunctional family drama, "Ritual."
A native of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Latresa currently resides in New York City as a working actress and runs a boutique production company, Millennial Renaissance Studios with the mission to provide artists with the necessary space and tools to bring their visions to life.
